Ok ok ok, I may be asking for a bit much. I am looking for an exhaust system that sounds reasonably normal, looks even more normal.
What do you people think of the OBX stainless steel header.
since it is stainless steel is it safe to use exhaust wrap on?
What Cat? inlet and outlet size?
does anyone know what size the OBX header is at it outless to the cat?
dont get me wrong but is the best size overall in the piping 2 1/4? or 2 1/2?
Sorry...

you dont really wanna use header wrap on a header. moisture can get in there and rust it away. just get a ceramic coated header.
and 2 1/4 is good enough
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
what about quite? where can i find a nice quite one. I dont like peicing it together but if i get a nice complete "quite stock looking" catback i will peice it together from there
Sorry...

none of the catbacks are going to be quiet. It'll cost you less in the end to buy the header, and then have a high flow cat (part number 94035 from magnaflow) installed, 24" resonator put in, and muffler of your choice.

i concur.
Just as a side note. Header wrap doesnt quiet anything, Its a heat restrictive matting like material. It keeps your engine compartment cooler, and keeps the heat in the pipes. However this as with a bit of moisture, quickens its rust time. Also voids your headers warrenty.
header wrap will also void warrenty on the header
alot of manufactures are that way
I also agree that header wrap is a bad idea. Not only voiding the warranty, but it will let moisture in and your header will crack / rust.

From personal experiance I would highly recomend that you DON"T wrap your header. I had a big hole on the number 3 primary that ken 2.2. tried to patch. I had a non coated pacesetter w/ wrap for about 9 months and the wrap ate through the pipes that fast.
keep your stock pipes, add a same size muffler by straight through. add a resonator if need be.
you can NOT hear my exhaust at all.... you can feel it if you put your hand there, but cant hear it.
dont wrap a header, spend another 100$ to get it coated...
large as can be resonator.
