part 2: Tire Choice for 18 with 225/40/18 tires

Hey guys,
Thanks for the help and the chart (which i finally noticed at the top of the forum) inregards to the wheels/tire i almost bought. I had a look at them. The Enkei RPM2s in Hyperblack/black chrome (what ever they call it) look awsome. But the 215/35/18 tire was really small.

Luckly, the guy (which i dealt with before) works at a very good tire place. Hes agreed to swap on new tires for a minimal cost (+trade of my rims).

The selection is pretty limited (due to keeping cost down..getting married in may and not working alot since i'm doing my firefighter training and rcmp testing). Theres the choices i've narrowed it down to:

TIRE Specs Comments
Kumho 711 Ecsta - want H rated , 25" height 340AA -boring tread design
Kumho 712 ecsta supra -want H , 25.10", 280AA -better looking desing
Toyo Proxy Fz4 ALL SEASON -300AA, 25" -look good..little more$

Any comments?
Suggestions.

I've had the 711 and they where a really good tire if you plan on having the wheels on for a log period of time and see some light snow befor you take them off I'd say the 711 other wise I go for the 712 I just really like how the kumho grip and feel

I'm gonna be going with the 711's. They do pretty good in different weather situations like notallthere said. The fact you can get them through tire rack for about $75 a piece is nice to

Toyo Proxes tires are amazing. The ones on my other car, a Honda Civic, were from 4wheelonline. Got a good deal.
