this is exactly why modding a 2.3 head for a 2.4 block is un-nessesary.

Here is the pic of the 086 head I pulled off this motor.

Here is the same head without the gasket. No less than 8 coolant ports blocked

I thought I did send you all the part numbers ( that I just now posted, LOL! )

I think I need 25 bolts altogether for the timing chain cover. I am not sure you are going to see them all, so some of them maybe just black oxide. I also have to think about what Mike said, as these bolts are taller than stock, so I "may" have some clearance issues

Best way to route the downpipe! Makes life so much easier when it needs to come off.

Love the progress as always.

Brandon Fetter made this for me

I left that decision to Brandon. My input was to use Vbands and the tube size. He also made a slicktastic 3bolt to 2.5" Vband adapter that bolts to the turbo. I am more than happy with what the work he did for me

I received my parts from Brandon. They look soooo much better in person

He made a custom 3 bolt to 2.5" Vband adapter

His manifold with a Hahn 16g turbo

2.5" stainless downpipe with Vbands

Next step is an intercooler and a lot of parts to get coated

Really? I had no idea that Brandon made log manifolds, too... crap and I think he's done making new stuff for people for a while.

Just an update since I have not done so since April

I picked up a timing chain housing from Fetter. It has 2 -10AN fittings welded to the cover. I also picked up a PCV block off plate from the GM supercharger kit. I will add 2 -10AN fittings to that was well. Once I get the motor in the car, I will figure out where all of these lines are going to go

I dropped this box of parts off to get powdercoated last week. I should be able to pick them up next Friday

Thanks to Brian Hunter, I picked up a F23 with a Quaife while on my business trip last week. I am cleaning it up now, so I can take off the Eco bellhousing and replace it with a LD9 one
