Cleaned the car and took her out this past weekend for the annual J-BOM BBQ. Still on the old engine. Put lots of miles on it this weekend with ease.

Took my engine to Miller Performance to begin the assembly process. More pictures to come.

Spectated a local Auto X and saw this gem. I love it. Would never do it myself but I love that it has been executed. Running a 255 tire in front.

I was really planning on making the drive up. Sadly yard work and the female got in the way.
I wonder how those flares would look body colored?

That's wild! I want to widebody mine but not with bolt on flairs. Welded on metal flares ftw! Haha will probably never happen with it being my DD though.
thats just a universal bolt on flair right? i haven't seen any for the j cars unless they're stupid rare. lol
I agree I would love to see 255 all around with flairs. Amost makes me want to do it to mine...almost
If I can find those flares I'll look into it! Don't think I'd go that wide of a tire though. Unless I got some 18x10s then I'd go 255 or 265. But if I can find those flairs I'll just space out my wheels for now.
Nice pics there...she looks great! Looked like fun as usual......
Dammit! I forgot all about the BBQ....and I had the day off! Grr.....f'ing J is never going to go anywhere......

I miss the cray colored wheels.

I want to see someone do the front AND rear with 255 all around.
I was toying with the idea of a set of these on the sedan... I'd be looking at 275s though. I think I can squeeze a 255 on the car as it sits now.
If you guys wanna see 225's on a J-body I can throw the rims off my WRX (18x9 ET35 255/35-18) on the Sunfire...lol
Woa.... an update...
Miller Performance bottom end is DONE.
For those who don't know: .040 over 9:1 Wiseco pistons coated by Swain Tech, Eagle H beam rods, ARP main studs, ARP rod bolts, 2.3L oil pump conversion with modified oil pan.

Head is next to be built. Using Sivalve's stainless OEM size valves with a 3 angle valve job and everything else OEM GM.

Great too see!!!
I love the choice on stock size valves!!
FU Tuning
Where can I get one of those radio bezels or is it a one off creation jw...
Ilove the new shots! Really unsure if it flows without the rear spoiler...maybe a carbon covered brickyard would look cool. Beautiful nonetheless and I cant wait until the new engine is done! Good work man
One of my favorite modifications was when I finally removed the spoiler via the CF trunk lid. I just love the trunk shape without a spoiler.

I want a carbon trunk to get rid of my spoiler too. That's the only way I'd get rid of it.
