I didnt mean to come across as a 2.4 hater or anything that motor took atot of abuse (19-22 psi of boost to be exact). It sucks that i didnt take videos or anything. Thats part of the reason why im making alot of videos now, cause noone believed about the 2.4L.
both motors are good, like mentioned above any motor can be nice if it goes fast.
i just prefer the 2.2 ecotec after experimenting with both of them, that and i dont think im gonna swap back to a 2.4 at this point

JustinsEcotec, that turbo in your sig.. is the same size as mine well at least the compressor is... thats a T4s houseing.. .70a/r with the 4 inch inlet and the velocity stack
and like i have been telling everyone else, i hope you beat my time, it gives more insentive to try and go faster hehe.
suncavi i think josh ran 18psi if im not mistaken. my highest at this point has been 1.2 bar and that was just once.. the car decided to spike i guess. Im usually between 1.04-1.12 again depending on when i shift or i dont know sometimes the car just boosts higher.

DJ that is just a Turbo, if I am not wrong he is running a big 16G which is still small. lol
It is a deicent Turbo for about 16-18 psi.
That one in the sig is good for 25+.

Huh?? josh had his up to 20-22 psi on boost spike, back in the day.
i believe he was running 16psi when he ran his 113 mph.

yeah, during very limited times and i do mean limited, i would run up to 15-16 but as for daily driving, i would push 11 tops. and as for my :newb: questions that you probably couldnt answer, those were just icing on the cake.

And since the 2.2 is taking 15+ psi just fine, 20 on a 2.0 shouldn't anything short of a blast
i said it, and im trying to get him to go the way of the turbo.. he said he has most of the stuff.. and wheni told him about my times at the track..... he wants to do even more now.. he ran a 14.8 with a pulley intake and exhast... embarasing if you ask me lol

dude your car is badass. you are brave to push the bottom end that much.... im still only at 8psi with the hahn stage II and stock bottom end. i dont plan on going past 10. MAYBE 12 psi.
you dont have any kind of knock at all with that kinda psi on pump fuel? what about spark? i plan on running 15-18 psi on a built engine next summer, never mind a stock one.
btw, hows your spec stage IV clutch? what made you not go with a stage III? hows the engagement? daily driving?
how much did your cav weigh when you ran it?
