I want to put in an aftermarket deck on my 03 sunfire, what are the consequenses for NOT relocating the deck.
i hear only the door chimes (which is not a problem). but some people say it affects diagnositcs and warranty for the car too..

what should i do, i'd prefer not to have the factory deck re-located.

who has put an aftermarket deck in and not relocated the factory deck with no problems

you dont need to relocate the factory deck, all that you will lose is the chimes

If you want to keep the chimes... to let you remember to turn off ur lights.

Then you have to use either the:
Metra GM VTR01 Chime Module
or
Bestkits BHA2004T , it relocates the stock deck to the trunk, it has relays, and its got a swithced 12 V built in.
