just got rockwood 6x9 4ways with dual input but not sure if i installed the, correctly.

they have a built in crossover for the tweeters, but unless i miss my guess they are factory wired from the input to the tweeter input, i tried connecting positive to the tweeter input at the same time too but to no avail, i mean they sound great on the mid-bass but the highs crackle.... please explain to me whether i did something wrong right now im only hooked to the main input

Run a jumper wire from your woofer to your tweeter. Then just hook up at the woofer.
