Soldering Gun Opinions?

hey guys, i am in need of a new soldering gun, and i was checking this out seeing as I live in a Townhome and they Hate when i run an extension cord outside to do my wiring. Its a cordless soldering gun power by Cold heat,


Soldering Gun I Am Considering

Any opinions please let me know, and also let me know if you have used it and experiences, thanks a lot!

there crap. if you got to go cordless get a butane/propane iron or one of the 12 volt models.

Hey man, listen im really sorry, i forgot to search and found it on there too. I was just in a rush. But is this the gun you are talking about?

Butane Gun

its the butane, if it is please let me know so i can solder my LED's in to my Hvac when i pull it apart in a week to install my new guages and Headunit. Thanks for the help!

yeah those work great. and you can get a good 15 minutes straight out of one charge of butane ( give or take)

I second the butane torch. Wires heat up in about 5 seconds, so it really makes for some quick soldering.

i go with the 12v never seems to work that great
