ok i have never heard a system in a fiberglass enclosure and was wondering the advantages or disadvantages of one in fiberglasse vs. mdf

Umm you could build a fiberglas shell over mdf like every one i've seen. Or you could crack fiberglas a bunch and have no rigidity.

you dont need mdf underneath fiberglass for strength or rigidity. Fiberglass has plenty of strength on its own when used properly. As for sound, there will not be a diference between an enclosure built purely from mdf or one purely from fiberglass as long as both maintain rigidity and are built to the same specs.

MDF should be used for all flat panels. Not only is it going to save you an astronomical amount of time and labour, it's stronger. Fiberglass is relatively weak when it's flat. It's strength comes in the curves. Save yourself a lot of time and hassle and make the flat portions out of MDF, cause a whole box of fiberglass is gonna take forever to do it properly.
