If you can, I'd look for an MTX amp. I've had great luck with them and the prices can't be beat for quality. The bit about being 300 rms at the bench sounds like bull@!#$ to me. For $140, its not bad, the only worry would be how long till it burns out. I'm more than a little loyal to MTX, but that is for a good reason. MTX has never let me down. Ever.

It puts out a decent amount of power, they always have the sheet with them and mine was over 300 watts as well... It wasn't that bad of an amp, but I really think that the lineup of power series after that model is better like the 451s I have right now. The ones with the blue lights on them. The older RF amps would sometimes die out on me when up loud and not giving the car any gas. My new amp does NOT do that. I would say that it is about worth what they are selling it for though.
