I have a 96 cavy trying to put a kenwood cd/mp3 player in it. I got it all wired up to the harness and everything but as i tried to put the cd player in the din it will not go all the way back it sticks out about a half of an inch from were the mounting bracket should be.

the back of the cd player is hittin that metal peice in the back like that L-bracket type piece. What should i do? Would it be ok to cut that metal piece back there? i just am stumped i don't wanna cut nuttin and it be all jacked up from now on.

Has anyone else had this problem if so what did you do?

I cut the L-bracket thing it was still a tight fit.....it now only sticks out about .5cm and looks fine.
