I was wondering how much power someone has going up to a JL W0, im kind of curious because i want to upgrade from my ho-hum mtx amp. Ive got the 15W0 if anyone has any suggestions as to what amp would be good for it.

anywhere from 50 to 150 watts is reccomended. Thats right from the JL site.

As long as the signal you put to it is UN-DISTORTED you will be fine, try using a O-Scpoe to set your amp. Distortion will blow a speaker before Overpowing will.

I had 2 Precision Power pc amps running 300watts RMS to each 10W0 I had.

That was 1200watts RMS to 4 10W0's, they were so loud, and overpowered by DOUBLE the rating.

FYI one amp was teh pc2150, and the other was the pc2600 (chrome)

Those amps were very nice

i got 900 watts in a sub rated for 450 so yea, as long as its not distorted and the gains are cool then everything should work... damn i really need to buy a second 12
