First off i just bought an Xplore headunit..... it sounds great but it seems to skip on decent sized pumps, including lane markers.
Secondly i installed the headunit and i had to tap into a power wire that was only on when the car was on so i tapped into one i found above the pedals. I was driving my car and i noticed the odometer wasnt on
it later randomly turned on then when i started my car up again te second time it was off and later came on again
ive started my car about 15 times since then and only once has it ranodmly come on again,
any help?

Xplore is a knockoff counterfit. You would have had better with Koss or Krako.

As far as the OD, I've had mine go out, I just smacked the top of the Dash, and it came back on.

The only way you're going to fix the Xplore is to replace it with a reputable company. Kingwood is not a reputable company. Stay away from the flea markets.

sweet man i smacked my dash and the odo actually came on.... has been working ever since.
amazing.
