I plan on replacing my cig lighter with a voltmeter.
I was wondering if I could simply take the wires from the cig lighter and hook them up to the voltmeter, or is it more complicated than that? Or is it a bad idea?
Thanks alot
You can do that. However, it will be on all the time. You can use the brown wire in the drivers kick panel (inside the split loom), just shave back the insulation, attach your power wire there, and route it to where you plan on locating the volt meter. You can re-use the ground there on the cig lighter. That's what I would do.......
