what power source did you guys use when you wired you amp thanks for any help

Maybe if you don't know the answer to that you shouldn't be hooking an amp up. But if you must know you should goto the store and pick up an amplifier install kit should have some instructions in there and includes everything you need.

yeah there is also a little remote wire that tells the amp to switch on...on your headunit wiring harness there should be a blue wire, run that to the amp remote terminal, or run a wire from the amp remote terminal to the radio fuse

It would never turn off until your battery was dead ... unless you put a switch in it of course

Buy a amp install kit from an car audio store. It will come with everything you need to hook up your amp and should include directions.
