Is that dual 4 or dual 2 ohm? If it's dual 2 ohm, you can run them series/parallel to give you a 2 ohm mono load, but make sure your gain is down on that amp, so you don't blow yer speakers.

Beat it like it owes you money

gains are meant to lower or raise the power ratings of an amp

i learned that the hard way

gains are there to match the amp to the pre-amp voltage coming from the headunit.......... gains are NOT a power knob, OR volume knob

That'll be nice. I have a 1200 watt amp on my 2 MClasses and they can take it.. A buddy of mine had a 2500 watt amp on one 12 inch M3, with the gain almost maxed (not a good thing i know but just trying to make a point). You should be fine with 1500 x 1.

with the gain maxed, its not the power you have to worry about, its the distortion.... the sub will stay at its full excursion, and this will not allow the coils to be cooled, and then you have a melted coil and a blown sub

close drew, but its the clipped signal, not nessicarily the distortion that will get ya.
