youll have to ingore the smartasses on this site. its nothing new tho

anyway get a blow dryer or heat gun.. (heat up the knob rubber should peel off)

without heating it up theres a pretty good damn chance ur gonna break the knob

no need for a heat gun. im sorry if you cant pull a piece of rubber off of a knob w/o breaking it, then theres something wrong. they come right off

I've cleared out a couple of sets of them and have never used a heat gun. Had no problems, either....not even sore fingers. lol

Which is more entertaining? The Underwear Gnome style answer, or "Pull the rubber off the knobs?"

Just trying to lighten things up a bit for an answer that has been given IDK how many times....

(plus, if you wanted to follow that literally, add "Put cleared knobs on eBay..." for #2, then #3 should follow )

peel off the rubber. imo it looks nicer if you take a knife and remove the plastic tabs around the edges of the knob.
