LED Headlighst and DRL's not getting along
Saturday, May 19, 2018 8:28 PM
Hey all,
I just installed some XK-Glow LED 9007 headlights in my 03 Cav ls coupe and when my drl's come one they start to strobe. Is there either a way to get them to work together or can i disable the drl and get rid of the service light on my cluster? Ive been researching and havnt found any help. Thanks

You might need a load resistor. LEDs draw less power and this can cause problems like strobing.

You can solder a bridge into the cluster circuit board to prevent the CEL but it will set a permanent code in the PCM for CEL light failure.
