I am not a VW fan by any means, but what you've done I like. And 42 draft designs makes some very good products. I am running their catch can/vacuum block. getting quality coilovers is good, great ride quality.
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
Rusted hood and roof rack
Cant wait to see the pics!!!
The anti-trend and it's perfect! Who'd thought!?
Love it.
and Joe your right, this will pretty much be an anti trend car lol
I definitively don't fit in with the VW crowd
You fit in with at least half of them that I know, they are a segregated group, but they all get along, it's kinda cool, haha.
BTW, you can still lower that at least another inch
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
Wow. Awesome looking car.
just wait for wheels (and maybe tint)
i approve of new stance much more in for pics with wheels on it
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...

Thank phucking god!!!! I hate all of the eurotrash mod $#!t Car is awesome!!!
Can't wait to see dyno #'s!
Currently #4 in Ecotec Forced Induction horsepower ratings. 505.8 WHP 414WTQ!!!
Currently 3rd quickest Ecotec on the .org - 10.949 @ 131.50 MPH!!!
Nothing rubs anywhere, I took it to the proving ground at work (behind Bally's where the there's a ton of slightly sunk down sewer lids, cracked up uneven pavement, dips, pot holes and a speed bump.... it's were we go to check for noises and rattles when people come in complaining) I couldn't get it to scrap, drag, knock, or rub. The only noise I get is because the firmer ride big pumps are a little bit more jarring and the exhaust will wiggle in the hangers and clunk up against the tow hitch. Either ither way I raised the rear up some more and leveled the front side to side last night, height is about right, as good as it's gonna get till I see it with the new wheels anyway.
The Gti's with bixenon have a level sensor on the rear suspension, when it sees the rear loaded down (which would make the nose point up) it lowers the headlights. Well it thought I had a load of bricks weighing the back down so it adjusted the headlights straight into the ground lol, at night the cut off line was on the road 30" in front of me. Luckily fixing it is as easy as the scan tool telling it this it the zero position and to go back to normal, problem solved
Hard to tell by the pics but I don't think you have enough camber.
On a real note you're going to get rid of those rims and when you do they would have grown on me. I almost like them now and really didn't like them in the beginning.
Thanks
I think it's gonna get a wax tonight and a photoshoot tomorrow

I was going to suggest 35% all around. That will look really nice.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what wheels you went with.
congrats on the new car! i'm a fan already.

I really do want to see this thing hit a dyno though for sure, just to know what it does.
How far are you from plainfield?
After the down pipe I'll probably get it dyno'd, looking at similar setups it should be in the range of 250whp and 300wtq
oh an plainfield is an hour away, theres dynos alot closer
its hard for me to hate how these cars look, but the factory wheels are hideous and ruin the cars look for me.. will be impatiently awaiting the new wheels
holy mod thread... car looks great!! makes me want to play with one.
can't wait to see it with the new wheels (whatever they may be) and a proper shoot.
I'm guessing and hoping for a set of unaffordable BBs RS-GT wheels.
