use a signal booster/line booster and then a spliter on the RCA's

but you'd be better off with quality 2 sub setup

for your remote wire, you need to wire it up using a relay circuit.

the relay will have a constant 12V supply, and your remote will flip the relay on, which will send turn on power to your amps.

no, your remote lead from your headunit would go to the relay...which has a constant 12+ supply. then from the relay you go to your amps.

Do you know how to wire up a relay circuit?

Since i'm running 3 amps and a xover box, i use a relay. It's got a constant 12 volt and ground, then my remote from the radio goes into it, and i have 4 separate wires going out for all my things that need turned on. Works rather well. As for RCA's, i've got a boatload of them :~ I'm going to be running a line driver for my sub amps - 1 in, 2 out.

Beat it like it owes you money

The package will come with instructions, as well. Basically:

Pin 86: Turn-on lead from head unit
Pin 87: Direct 12V source, probably your distribution block is best
Pin 85: Ground
Pin 30: Amps

For those who are buying distro blocks, you can also buy a cap with the block built in.
The cap I bought (Lightning audio) has two 4ga and two 8ga out, enough to run my two amps.

I didn't like my lights dimming when listing to tunes at idle so I bought a cap.
I realize I should have chosen my words with more precision: "if you are buying a cap and a distro block then you could buy one that has both". Sorry for the confusion.
Just trying to be helpful.

whats wrong with just splitting the remote turn on wire? i have the remote turn on wire coming out of the head unit and then it splits into each amp. isnt it just a signal wire? it seems to be working fine for me.

The reason is, the more pieces of equipment you add..the more current you pull from that wire. They aren't designed to provide a lot of current.

Jumping from one amp to another such as in your case would be fine.

Another reason is because if the remote wire was to contact ground while the headunit is on it could short and you could severely damage your headunit if it's not fused properly.
